Last Aug.16, 2008 Nike Philippines c/o (Rio De la Cruz) got in contact with a few of us dedicated & crazy runners. We were invited to test the new NIKE – LUNAR training flats. Of course I was very excited not only did we get a chance to try out the new running shoes before its sold to the public but they will also give us the shoe and a Nike sports band kit for free. Rio C. Thank you. NIKE thank you very much!!!! Nike - Lunar Nike Philippines ( Guinea Pigs ) Running Team. Testing the Nike - Lunar (Norman, Miguel, Annie, Ben, Jo-Ar, Doc Oknoy and Patrick (me)

OTHER COMMENTS:
POSITIVE:
· LUNAR is a very good “racing / Training flat shoe.
· Surprisingly the stability of the lunar on the heel area is very good I was very impressed.
· I ran in asphalt, cement terrain and it felt very smooth.
· When the shoe got wet due to sweat or rain the shoe did not feel heavy or sluggish.
NEGATIVE:
· Mud has the tendency on getting easily stuck on the side of the shoe, especially in the side which makes the shoe heavy.
· Not recommended when the terrain has a lot of pebbles and small rock painful on the foot.
· The lunar insoles have no support at all. I replaced the insoles with the insoles coming from the Nike 360 / 180.
OVERALL RATING OF LUNAR SHOE: VERY GOOD FOR A RACING /TRANNING FLAT. SHOE BUT NOT RECOMMENDED FOR EVERYDAY RUNNING.
