I’ve always been a sucker for out of town races and 2019 New Balance Run On Philippines 16kms in Clark, Pampanga was the perfect one to start the year. The late gun start and cold weather is definitely a perk not to mention the wide open green spaces and non-existent traffic which sets Clark apart from other race venues. The route was scenic while the rolling hills proved to be a challenge. Definitely not the race to be gunning for a PR. There was a festive atmosphere at the start and finish line which I believe is how races should be. The event was Fun with a Family/homey atmosphere, just “FERFECT" ;-)
Thanks New Balance on a good and memorable race. Count me in on the next one.
