The original plan was to run the Carbitrim All Women's
Race in Filinvest but the mandatory tutu attire for the male runners who wish
to join was just a tad too "skimpy" for me... So I decided to join
the ENERGEN 10 km race at BGC instead.
The 5.30am gun start was good for it allowed me to get a little more zzzzz's. The
weather was a bit cloudy but cool. Route for 10k was good - short but with
everything on it - and the distance allowed me to satisfy my need for speed
this time and wake up the legs just a bit. All in all, I must say Pep - Squad
(organizer) came up with an excellent well-organized race.
