I finally got to meet Wayne Plymale aka. SFrunner in person for Lunch, Nov.14.
Wayne, Oknoy & I had lunch at Sentro Greenbelt. The funny thing was, Wayne already had dinner in the same restaurant with other Runners last Monday, Nov 10. And he told us that right after we ordered food! So much for Planning huh?
We had a great lunch together and talked endlessly about running.
Wayne is a very humble person and down to earth. We talked about how he wants to be a Positive Contributor to the Local Running Community.
I remember it was Wayne who was one of the first member of RunningShield@yahoogroups.com
I was also the one who encouraged him to join Happy Feet Running Group because most of the his Local Running Friends are members of the said Group.
He also mentioned that he is seriously considering retiring here in the Philippines because he really feels the warmth of the Filipinos.
Whatever Wayne’s decision is, I’m sure that the Running Community will definitely ACCEPT him with open arms. thank you for being a Good friend WAYNE! WELCOME to the Running Community!
