The night (Saturday) before race day I was one of the Hosts in my mom’s Birthday party which was held in Antipolo city. North of Manila. I drank a bottle of red wine and 3 bottles of light beer. (I was drunk) The party ended around 2.30am Sunday and I got to bed around 3am. My “Vibrating alarm “shock me up at 4:30am (still drunk) I only got 1 ½ hrs sleep. I rushed to Roxas Boulevard around 5am. And parked my tank in front of Aristocrat. I’m glad Aristocrat has very clean Restrooms!!!
The race started at 6AM sharp which I was very happy. I believe in Punctuality. I love running in Roxas Boulevard. Usually the south side of the Road is close to traffic and its always a festive atmosphere in this area with lots of bikers, Exercise Groups , hackers, Street vendors, family picnic etc. Very nice.
What was also nice is the Feati University provided a Live Music Band. They were playing great music that every time you would pass in front of the band you would pick up the pace cause of there cool music.
But sad to say because of my little sleep ( 1 ½ hrs) and still very woozy head cause of so much liquor the night before I just didn’t have the “kick” to push the pace and I finished in 48min & 20sec.
What was also very disappointing is my GF 205 tracked the course measurement at 8.89km (short by 1.11km).
Next time I will lend my GF 205 to every RACE ORGANIZER so the RACE DISTANCE WILL BE ACCURATE OR A LITTLE LONGER.
Over all I would rate this race a 7, if they got the race distance right it would have been a 9.
LASTLY THE FEATI RACE WAS AGAIN CO-SPONSORED BY SILOGEXPRESS.
