A few weeks ago my legs were feeling stale that I decided to incorporate some speed works in my scheduled 16 km long run. Around the 8km I felt a strain / pull on my right hamstring. I did not really mind it and just continued with the remaining 8km.
But the next day, When i again went for a run the Pain in my right hamstring was severe. It made me limp and left me struggling to maintain form and pace.
I know have to apply ice 5 times a day and Electric therapy 3 times a day. I also have to wear a leg support to maintain running form. I still run about 12 km a day but at a much slower pace.
I hope this injury will be gone soon but as of now I’m just ........
THANKFUL TO GOD, I’M STILL RUNNING.
