Bayan muna sa 2021

I was in Hong kong with my daughter in Jan 04,2020 when I first heard of the COVID 19 Virus in the news. I remember doing my stretches on the bedroom floor after an early morning run when I heard it being reported by the HK local news. Wuhan, China was in the forefront as the epicenter of a newly discovered virus and several health warnings were put in place. Who would have thought that in just a few months the world would be in the brink of a pandemic that engulfed the world in a quick and devastating speed. Life as we know it completely changed.

Nine months have passed and news of the vaccine has been received positively however the journey to normalcy is still a long ways off. The ‘silver lining’ may be in sight, but letting our guard down at this point would be unwise. Strict protocols should still be in place and observed - masks, face shields, social distancing, washing of hands are still part of the new normal. Now that we are nearing the homestretch and a possible end to this pandemic there is every reason to be hopeful.

BUT, at this point in time it would be wise to always stay cautious. LET’S NOT PUT OUR COMPLETE FAITH AND TRUST ON ANY INSTITUTION THAT PROMISES TO PROTECT ITS CITIZENS AND THEN BEING THE FIRST ONE TO BREAK THE LAW WITHOUT ANY HESITATION JUST TO ACCOMMODATE THEIR OWN PERSONAL INTEREST AND GREED. THEY WILL HAVE THEIR PLACE IN HELL.

Despite this, there is every reason to be hopeful in 2021. After all, the comeback is always stronger than the setback.

Happy New Year.
Stay safe.
